Maritime Heritage Cultural Center
The Maritime Heritage Cultural Center is dedicated to connecting the entire community to the cultural significance of the Chesapeake Bay.
This division plans and produces the Annual Middle River Parade of Lighted Boats (the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend), which is the organization’s largest community celebration outreach event and fundraiser.
In addition to this annual event, the Maritime Heritage Cultural Center offers year-round opportunities for public education through creating maritime crafts, learning firsthand from local decoy carvers, photography, and painting with watercolor artists.
We will gladly bring activities to your organization, school, or workplace. All you have to do is e-mail us with your request at least two months before your desired visit.
